We’re excited to share some of the latest updates on Exam.net — including a powerful new way to support learning with: Inline feedback in student texts
Supporting Student Learning with Inline Feedback
We know that many teachers use Exam.net not only to assess students’ knowledge but also to support their learning. To make this even easier, we’ve introduced an entirely new formative workflow in Exam.net — with inline feedback at its core.
You can now leave comments directly within a student’s written response — and let them return to the same text, to be reviewed based on your feedback. This powerful new feature supports revision, reflection, and continuous progress within a secure and structured environment.
- Students write their text and submit their work at the end of the session.
- As a teacher, you can provide inline feedback by marking specific words, sentences, or paragraphs and adding your comments.
- Students receive your comments by resuming the same exam, then use your feedback to improve their text. When ready, they submit their revised work, either as the final version or for further feedback.
